More Than A Race

Jonah Street and Team Rally PanAmerica's passion to win the 2007 Lisbon to Dakar Rally goes beyond the competition. Their journey to Africa also creates a unique opportunity for the team and sponsors to work with Wheels2Africa, a non-profit humanitarian organization focused on solving the problem of delivering health care in Africa. In part, the mission of W2A is to provide the funds and assistance that ensures vehicles for the delivery of health care and associated development in Africa, for the maximum time at the minimum cost.

Team Rally PanAmerica and Wheels2Africa work tirelessly to provide motorcycles with sidecars to transport the infirmed and supplies to satellite infirmaries near multiple villages. The approach of using motorcycles for health care delivery in areas where roads are seldom available has proven to be the most cost effective and appropriate solution to such a critical problem.
